Character Designs

So here are my initial sketches of my characters:

And here are the designs i settled on:

I wanted the Boy to be cute and youthful. Full of spunk. I definitely want to stick with the shorts design, as that shows he's much younger. I want the Potato Boy to look as inhuman as possible. As it shows clearly that he is an imaginary friend, instead of a real one.
